DeJesus Industries has been selected as the general contractor to oversee the demolition and site preparation of a 100+ year old mansion situated on an approximately $10 million development site in Brookline, Massachusetts. The property, located adjacent to the renowned The Country Club, reflects both the architectural heritage of the early 20th century and the evolving demands of modern residential development.
A Property Rooted in Architectural and Local History
Constructed in 1910 for a prominent oil executive, the residence represents an era when Brookline’s estate neighborhoods were taking shape as some of the most desirable residential settings in New England.
The home was designed by Frank Chouteau Brown, a notable architect recognized for his work on high-style residential buildings and historic restorations throughout Brookline. Architecturally, the residence exemplifies the Spanish Colonial Revival style, characterized by features such as:
