Learn About the CEO
Alberto J. DeJesus is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of DeJesus Corporation, a construction, real estate, and media parent company overseeing a portfolio of operating businesses, including DeJesus Industries and AJ DeJesus Construction Company. Through these entities, he has built a multi-state platform delivering high-end residential, commercial, and institutional construction across the Northeast and beyond.
He founded DeJesus Industries in 2017 with a clear objective: to create a firm defined by precision, trust, and uncompromising execution. What began as a part-time venture during his undergraduate years at Boston University has grown into a full-scale operation with a dedicated team, an established subcontractor network, and active project pipelines across Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New York City, and Pennsylvania.
Alberto’s leadership is grounded in both operational execution and long-term strategic vision. He oversees business strategy, project acquisition, risk management, and field operations, while managing administrative teams across multiple offices and coordinating with an extensive network of subcontractors and trade partners. His responsibilities include negotiating insurance and bonding programs, maintaining rigorous safety and compliance standards (including OSHA, EPA/HUD LRRP, and EDL certifications), securing multi-state contractor registrations, and advancing the firm’s readiness for public-sector contracting through SBA, bonding, and DCAMM pathways. He has also led the development of the company’s brand architecture through multiple federal trademark filings.
His project experience spans historic mansion restorations, complex pre-construction logistics, and collaborations with internationally recognized architects. Representative work includes historically sensitive residential projects in Brookline and the adaptive reuse of a landmark commercial property in Fall River into a 10,000-square-foot health services facility, delivered as prime general contractor through to Certificate of Occupancy.
From an early age, Alberto has demonstrated a consistent pattern of leadership, initiative, and the ability to operate at the center of complex environments. That trajectory continued through his academic focus in Political Science and Government, where he actively engaged in high-level conversations spanning business, media, and public policy. These experiences shaped a leadership style defined by confidence, adaptability, and a willingness to pursue ambitious opportunities and operate beyond conventional boundaries.
Continuing education remains central to his leadership. He completed executive education in real estate at Harvard University under Professor David A. Smith, with a focus on development, finance, and housing. He is also an alumnus of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program in New York, where he completed intensive training in financial management, growth strategy, and capital readiness. As part of its Voices advocacy cohort, he traveled to Washington, D.C. to engage with congressional offices on issues including healthcare, affordable housing, small-business lending, and permitting reform.
Today, Alberto leads with a long-term vision: to scale DeJesus Corporation into a vertically integrated platform spanning construction, development, and media, while expanding its presence in both private and public markets. His approach is defined by discipline, clarity, and a commitment to building not only high-quality projects, but enduring companies and relationships.
His work reflects a broader ambition, to operate at the intersection of business, real estate, and culture, building structures on the ground while shaping opportunities and influence at scale.
